What is an RI&E?

An RI&E (risk inventory and evaluation) is a legal requirement for every employer in the Netherlands. It maps out all the risks within your organisation and sets out an action plan to control them. It forms the basis of a sound health and safety policy.

Why have an RI&E drawn up?

  • Complies with the Dutch Working Conditions Act (Arbowet) and prevents fines.
  • Improving safety for all employees.
  • Reducing accidents and absenteeism through insight and prevention.
  • A clear action plan for all risks.

How does drawing up an RI&E work?

Kennis&Veiligheid handles the entire process: from inventory, interviews and analysis to a complete report and independent review by a certified health and safety expert. You receive a clear report including an action plan, tailored to your sector and situation. You will receive the draft report within 4 weeks.

Review & certainty

For organisations with more than 25 employees, or without a sector-recognised RI&E tool, a review is mandatory. We arrange the independent review and always provide an official review letter.
